Enjoy bird-watching with other enthusiasts at this annual early-morning meet taking place this year at Tindal House Farm on Sunday 11th May, at 05.15 in the morning.
Grid reference for the meeting point is NT 913 412, and the W3W location is windmills.school.motivate. It’s about 200 metres before Tindal House Farm itself. The walk is open to all. Non-members of the NNBC are asked to make a small donation on the morning.
The following birds have been spotted in previous years: Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, Canada Goose, Mallard, Goosander, Pheasant, Grey Heron, Moorhen, Lapwing, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Herring Gull, Woodpigeon, Collared Dove, Tawny Owl, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Skylark, Sand Martin, Pied Wagtail, Wren, Robin, Blackbird, Fieldfare, Song Thrush, Redwing, Mistle Thrush, Sedge Warbler, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Long-tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Nuthatch, Jackdaw, Carrion Crow, House Sparrow, Tree Sparrow, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch and finally a Reed Bunting.
