Etal Manor Open Garden
Enjoy this rare opportunity to explore Etal Manor’s expansive ten-acre woodland garden. Not normally open to the public, the garden has been managed by the Joicey family since 1910.
The gardens have an acid soil and this tough growing environment suits rhododendrons and azaleas, acers, magnolias and many other species. The rhododendrons should be looking spectacular and in full bloom, weather permitting.
Delicious homemade teas will be served and the Berwick Concert Band will perform. there will be a plant stall and a craft stall.
The gardens will be open from 13:00 and will close at 16:00.
Adult entry £6, children under-12 free entry. Dogs on leads are welcome.
All the proceeds from this event go to HospiceCare North Northumberland. This is the charity’s 30th anniversary and Lady Joicey is its patron.
Please note, there is limited wheelchair access.
