Cheviot Tap

Cheviot Tap

Located right next door to Cheviot Brewery, a micro brewery where traditional cask and bottled ales are produced, lies Cheviot Tap. During winter it is open only on Fridays from 12:00 to 22:00 (food is served from 17:00-20:00) and it is the perfect spot for a relaxing drink, or for a some much needed refreshment. Booking essential, see below.

As well as Cheviot Brewery’s own ales, here you can also sample other local beers and ales, plus a range of wines, spirits, soft drinks and tea and coffee.

Email in advance to book a table and discuss food choice as this venue is very popular. If weather conditions are extreme the Tap Bar will close. Contact Cheviot Tap via the email address below. Full details on Cheviot Tap’s Facebook page.

There is some indoor seating with a log burning stove, the covered outside area is warmed by patio heaters. There is also a fire pit where you can toast marshmallows.

There is onsite parking (designated drivers can have complimentary tea and coffee) and the Tap Bar is dog and horse friendly.

Cheviot Tap is found up in Slainsfield, on Ford & Etal Estates. It is signposted from the B6354 which runs between Etal and Heatherslaw.
