If you don’t have your own bicycles with you when you visit, you can hire a bike from Ford Village Cycle Hire. A range of good quality road/trail bikes along with helmets, bike locks and route maps are available (pre-booking recommended).
Ford Cycle Hire operates from the village shop and offers a range of good quality road/trail bikes (NOT off-road bikes) comprising 8 adult bikes, 2 x 20″ and 2 x 24″ children’s bikes plus a baby seat.
Helmets and bike locks are provided along with a selection of maps and suggested routes to suit all levels of ability and interest.
Please note that for reasons of health and safety, hirers must be able to comfortably reach the ground with their feet when seated on the bike and must be confident cyclists.
To book your cycles please visit Ford Cycle Hire or telephone 01890 820230. It is strongly recommended to PRE-BOOK your bikes at least 24 hours in advance in order to avoid disappointment, although it may be possible to book on the day.
