Talk on Louisa Waterford

 

Historian and author Caroline Ings-Chambers will give a talk about Louisa Waterford entitled Artist, Philanthropist and Free Spirit.

Ings-Chambers, one of the judges of the Lousia Waterford Prize, is an independent scholar, speaker and writer in the field of Victorian Studies with specialist academic interests in John Ruskin, the Nineteenth Century Novel, and the role of women in nineteenth century society, culture and the arts.

The talk is on Saturday 4th May at 6.30pm (talk begins 7pm) at Lady Waterford Hall, the site of her famous murals. This promises to be a fascinating evening.

Entry is £10 (includes welcome drink).
