Etal Manor Open Garden
A rare opportunity to explore this expansive ten-acre garden, managed by the Joicey family since 1910. Developed into a predominantly woodland garden, the acid soil, and tough-growing environment suit rhododendrons, azaleas, acers, and magnolias. There should be good autumn colours showing. The damage inflicted by Storm Arwen in November 2021 will be visible, but replanting continues. There is limited wheelchair access.
The gardens open at 14:00 and close at 17:00.
There is an entrance fee of £5 for adults which goes to the National Gardens Scheme.
Delicious homemade teas will be served and all the proceeds go to HospiceCare.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
