The Old Dairy is housed in what was once the milking parlour, part of a charming set of black and white dairy farm buildings that look out over the River Till valley. It has changed direction and no longer serves food. However the much loved artisan coffee, including espressos, cappuccinos, flat whites, mochas and machiatos, using coffee beans from Edinburgh based roaster Artisan Roast are still on offer. In addition visitors will find a choice of teas and champagne and English sparkling wine. Everything is served in the outdoor champagne bar, or in an open-sided marquee. Later in the summer, subject to Covid regulations, we will start to use our indoor bar and seating area, but only for drinks.
The Old Dairy sells its own award-winning preserves and fruit cakes and, from time to time, a range of speciality breads and other bakery products made by Chef Andrew Wilkinson for customers to take home.
