The Old Dairy Coffee Shop is housed in what was once the milking parlour, part of a charming set of black and white dairy farm buildings that look out over the River Till valley.
With fully-trained baristas, The Old Dairy Coffee Shop prides itself in offering a variety of coffees including espressos, cappuccinos, flat whites, mochas and machiatos using coffee beans from Edinburgh based roaster, Artisan Roast. An extra special hot chocolate is also on offer, as are speciality teas served in vintage bone china.
During the week freshly baked cakes, scones, or a cream tea with Lady Waterford jam are on the menu and light lunches are served. Try an ice-cold milkshake or, perhaps better still, a glass of champagne at the champagne bar. The award winning Lady Waterford Preserves are created, produced and sold here.
Drinks and food will be served outside and in a marquee.
The Old Dairy also holds occasional pop up parlour suppers, cooked by guest chef from Newcastle, Andrew Wilkinson. In addition it runs occasional baking courses. Please ask for details at the Old Dairy.
