Sit down and relax for an open-air storytelling session, or head out on a fascinating guided walk, both with Spindrift Stories.

Storytelling sessions

Here, in the beautiful countryside at Heatherslaw, you can enjoy hearing Borders myths and legends featuring kings, queens, tricksters, dragons and fairies.

Tales of Old Heatherslaw storytelling sessions take place in the open-air and last for one hour. Stories are family friendly, but are not designed specifically for children and may not be suitable for the very young. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Tales of Old Heatherslaw is situated in Heatherslaw, just half a mile away from Heatherslaw Corn Mill. Use the car parks at Heatherslaw then enjoy a pleasant stroll along a country lane, following the lane up away from the mill. Tales of Old Heatherslaw is on your left. If you have any specific queries please email.
