Pottery Workshops

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make pottery, here is your chance. Ravn Clay Pottery was created to help people play with clay. Keith and his sidekick Ellie the Patterdale terrier, can be found in a fabulous new location; The Reading Rooms, in Ford village, just a few doors from Lady Waterford Hall.

Keith runs a range of workshops where he can help you make something unique and remarkable. You could join a three hour Hand Building Pottery Workshop, or perhaps make a Monster Pot or a Mug which takes around an hour-and-a-half. The workshops vary in subject matter and length and some are seasonal – you might like to make a pottery pumpkin at Hallowe’en or a Christmas Tree in the run up to the festive season. Some workshops are child-friendly, others are more suited to adults.

Once your piece has been glazed and fired you can either collect it, or have it sent to you.

Workshops run throughout the year on different days and times, prices vary, please take a look at Ravn Clay’s booking page which gives full information on the range of workshops available.

Sessions must be booked in advance via Ravn Clay

If you would like more information please visit the Ravn Clay website.

While you are here you can also admire Keith’s own stoneware creations, from mugs, jugs and vases to chess sets. Inspirational!
