Heatherslaw Corn Mill

Heatherslaw Corn Mill

Heatherslaw Corn Mill is the only place in Northumberland where you can experience the sight, sound and smell of a traditional mill. You’ll learn how the power of water is harnessed in this centuries-old mill to grind wheat into flour, It’s a ‘hands on’ experience for children who can operate the hoist and grind their own flour. While you are here, why not purchase some freshly milled flour to make your own delicious bread at home?

From September 13th and through October 2024 there will be no miller on duty on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can still go into the mill and and there will be no charge for admission on these days, however the mill will not be running.
