Heatherslaw Corn Mill is the only place in Northumberland where you can experience the sight, sound and smell of a traditional mill. You’ll learn how the power of water is harnessed in this centuries-old mill to grind wheat into flour, It’s a ‘hands on’ experience for children who can operate the hoist and grind their own flour.
