Get hands-on with history in a fully interactive visit to Heatherslaw Corn Mill – fun for all the family!

You can explore the mill yourself or take the opportunity to meet up with one of our millers for a full tour of the building. Take home your own flour after feeling its warmth when it was fresh off the millstones.

Children can:

• Discover how your flour is made from start to finish.
• Have a go at the mouse trail!
• Step back in time in a recreation of the miller’s cottage and dress-up in a selection of Victorian costumes.
• Learn about miller’s clock and how it assisted them in their job.
• Follow the Mouse Trail to see if you can find where these helpful mice are hiding!
