Lady Waterford was a keen English artist associated with John Ruskin and the Pre-Raphaelite movement and is now recognised as one of the most interesting and gifted artists of her time. In addition to the stunning watercolour murals adorning the walls of the Lady Waterford Hall, many of her original smaller artworks are displayed there too. (The painting which is being raffled is NOT part of this collection.)
As part of the celebrations marking 200 years since the birth of Louisa Waterford, one of her original watercolour sketches, a painting of a young girl (c.1840), is being raffled with the draw taking place on 31st October. For a chance to win this beautiful painting please buy your raffle tickets direct from our website or better still, pay a visit to the Lady Waterford Hall!
