Janet Dickson graduated from Newcastle Polytechnic (now the University of Northumbria) in 1984 with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design.  Having worked in graphic design then as a senior lecturer at the University she gradually returned to her first love of printmaking.

Inspired by plants and natural forms, as a gardener and a printmaker, Janet now works from a riverside studio in rural Northumberlanded where she makes prints and offers occasional workshops.

Examples of her work is on display, and available to buy, in Lady Waterford Hall from 30th April-4th June.  The Hall - a fascinating building in its own right - is open daily from 10am-4pm.
