The new season is underway at Heatherslaw Cornmill with new management at Heatherslaw Tearoom.
Lauren and Keith Elstob, owners of the Blue Bell Inn at Crookham since 2011, are excited to take over the Tearoom, situated in the former granary at Heatherslaw Cornmill and one of the oldest enterprises amongst the many at Ford & Etal Estates.

They said “We’re thrilled to be starting this new venture. It’s something different for us and we’ve had great fun planning and setting up the tearoom and its menu.”
Keith added “As well as traditional tearoom fare and delicious home-baked scones and cakes we’re also offering a selection of refreshments ranging from sandwiches and paninis to small basket meals to more substantial lunchtime specials. And having the Cornmill next door provides a great opportunity to use its fresh flours and oat products in our baking.”
With a full coffee menu, a range of teas and soft drinks and the much-loved ‘Mr Whippy’ ice cream, there’s something to tempt every taste-bud. Lauren is especially excited about her new milkshake menu, to be launched in the coming weeks, saying “At the moment we’re experimenting with flavours, from traditional to the more unusual and exotic! Choosing our favourites is quite a task!”
The tearoom is open daily until 4th November. Children, dogs and groups are all welcome.
