Looking for things to do in half-term? Why not come along for a train ride with Heatherslaw Light Railway, discover the snowdrop walks in Etal and at Broomhouse, get messy in the 'dough zone' at Heatherslaw Mill, drop in to Lady Waterford Hall for Victorian school activities and meet the Clydesdales and other rare breeds at Hay Farm Heavy Horse Centre.
In addition, if you want to get active, there are 'come and try' canoeing sessions on Wednesday 20th Feb, 1.30-3.30pm, with Active 4 Seasons. (NB must be prebooked - contact via email, telephone or Facebook) AND on Thursday 21st Feb Ford Village Cycle Hire is running a guided cycle ride around the estate to find the snow drops - either hire a bike or bring your own (but please pre-book as places are limited).
