Step into Spring

From February 19 11:00 am until 3:00 pm

Looking for things to do in half-term?  Why not come along for a train ride, enjoy the snowdrop walks in the villages, get messy in the 'dough zone' at Heatherslaw Mill and drop in to Lady Waterford Hall for Victorian school activities.  AND with Hay Farm Heavy Horse Centre open daily from 19th February, as well as meeting the lovely Clydesdales there may be some new and very young animals to see too!

Heatherslaw Light Railway open 19th, 20th & 21st Feb.  Diesel trains run at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm & 2pm.

Hay Farm Heavy Horse Centre open from 10am daily from 19th Feb.

Heatherslaw Cornmill open 20th, 21st & 22nd Feb, 11am-3pm. Drop-in kids' baking throughout the day, and other kids activities.

Lady Waterford Hall open 20th, 21st & 22nd Feb, 11am-3pm.  See the beautiful artwork in this 19th century school; drop-in kids' activities.

Active 4 Seasons running 'come and try' canoeing sessions on Wednesday 20th Feb, 1.30-3.30pm.  NB must be prebooked - contact via email, telephone or Facebook.

Retail, refreshment and activity providers open across the estates.

Self-guided snowdrop walks in Etal, Ford and at Broomhouse Farmhouse
