Situated in the former granary at Heatherslaw Cornmill this cosy traditional tearoom overlooks the River Till and is open daily from late March until early November.
Relax over a cuppa and a freshly baked scone or call in when visiting the Cornmill or Railway for freshly prepared snacks, light lunches, home-made cakes and tray bakes. Local, seasonal produce is used as much as possible: local suppliers include Rington’s Tea and Coffee, Doddington Dairy cheese, Ford of Norhams’ bread and teacakes, Oxford Farm jam, and of course Heatherslaw Cornmill flours and cereals.
Ice Cream Parlour also now open on the first floor serving award-winning Giacopazzi’s ice cream in cones and tubs along with traditional sundaes and Mr Whippy cones and tubs.
Children and dogs are very welcome. The tearoom and ice cream parlour are reached by stairs, and for anyone unable to access it the full menu can be served in the ground floor dining area.
