Boes café at Heatherslaw is beautifully situated over looking the River Till with lovely views and seating inside and out. It is located within Heatherslaw Corn Mill and is just over the bridge from Heatherslaw Light Railway.
The café is under new management in 2021, (opening 17th May) and it will offer a full eat-in or takeaway menu. Food will be seasonal and use local produce wherever possible.
There will be a full range of coffee to tempt you; everything from flat white to single origin filter coffee, all made from our very own coffee blend expertly roasted on Holy Island. If you fancy a cuppa, we will be serving Tregothnan, a delicious tea grown in England.
Our menu covers breakfast and lunch, and includes tapas and sharing platters. If you like something sweet we will offer a delicious selection of handmade cakes and patisserie, as well as Pilgrims Gelato
Dietary requirements: we aim to offer a varied menu and an ingredients list can be provided. Hot drinks can be prepared using oat milk upon request. Selected for its amazing flavour, our gelato also happens to be dairy free, gluten free and vegan.
Families; highchairs and child portions available, as are nappy change facilities.
Disabled: for blue badge holders two parking bays are available next to the mill (you will need to access the site from Crookham direction). Disabled toilet facilities are located nearby at the tourist centre. Due to the nature of the building accessibility is challenging, but our team will happily provide table service to our outdoor seating area or ground floor room. The tearoom and ice cream parlour are reached by stairs, and for anyone unable to access it the full menu can be served in the ground floor dining area.
Dogs: welcome (responsible ownership required).
Cyclists: bike rack outside
