Join us for some fangtastic Hallowe'en fun this October.
From Monday 23rd until Tuesday 31st October the different venues will be decorated in a Hallowe'en theme and there are lots of activities for all the family:
Follow the famous Scarycrow Trail around the villages - pick up a score sheet from the Railway, the village shops or the Visitor Centre and help us choose a winner as well as raising some money for the local "Cash 4 Kids" charity.
Browse the second hand sales table at Heatherslaw Tearoom - donations to Cash 4 Kids please!
Visit Etal Castle and see if you can crack the Hallowe'en Quiz - sweetie treats for kids when completed quiz is handed in.
Enjoy colouring and quizzes over lunch at Heatherslaw Tearoom.
In Lady Waterford Hall at the kids table take part in creepy craft activities.
Enter the carved pumpkin competition at Lavender Tearooms - prizes for the winners at the end of the week!
On selected dates there are also Hallowe'en Carriage Rides (Hay Farm Heavy Horse Centre), a Beastly Bat Trail (Heatherslaw Light Railway), Blood-curdling Baking and Spooky Story Telling (Heatherslaw Cornmill), sweets and treats for kids in costume - details under "extra activities today" listed on individual days.
